Only the beginning of our happily ever after....

Once upon a time, there lived a girl in a land not so very far away.  She had a mother and father who taught her everyday that she was a princess, and one day she would have a kingdom of her very own.  Her childhood was full of laughter, happiness, and love.  Her memories mean more to her than gold.  As they say "one day all of your dreams and wishes would come true," hers did.  She met her handsome prince, and it was true love at first sight.  Their happily ever after began on October 21, 2011.  Believe it or not, this is my fairytale.  It was every bit as magical and memorable as the storybooks.

"Oh but there must be a difference," critics may say, "A fairytale is make-believe, and life is reality.  Take off your rose-colored glasses."

Alright, I will.

The only difference:  a fairytale book ends with the words happily ever after, and in my fairytale, those words are just the beginning.

The blogging world is very new to me.  I will check up on my sister's....make a comment or two, but it has never been much of a priority.  In fact, I wasn't planning on even having a blog.  I came to work the morning after my first meal I cooked from scratch for my husband, Jason, needless to say it was quite eventful.  I not only had her laughing, but also the mother of the child's hair I was cutting, and the random fireman who came to check on our fire extinguisher.  After I had poured out my heart and soul, searching for some type of encouragement such as, "Oh I'm sure it wasn't that bad!"  Or, "Don't worry, you will get the hang of it real quick I'm sure."  She said, "You definitely need a blog!"

Oh really?  "So then everyone can know how clueless of a homemaker I am?'  I asked.  She smiled and said, "Yep!"

So here I am, writing in this blog about my adventures.  The adventures of a clueless homemaker!  I hope my simple entries either help you know what not to do in certain situations, or perhaps even give you a real confidence boost knowing you would never do anything like that ever.  Please bear with me, I am learning!  And you know?  I am loving every single moment of it!
